The PERFECT age/ time to serve.
Saturday, August 13, 2011
There was this little boy named Andrew. He was 6 years old.
One day, her teacher said, "Nobody is too young to serve."
Andrew felt that she could do something. So he told his mummy.
A- "Mummy, I want to serve God!"
Mummy- "Darling, you are too young. What can a K2 boy like you do? Serve when you have grown up."
A- "Okay, Mummy."
Andrew grew up, he entered primary school.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "No teacher! I need to get used to primary school."
Andrew moved on to secondary school.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "No teacher! I am taking O' Levels. I am too busy. I've got no time."
Andrew scored well and entered a Junior College.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "No teacher! I need to prepare for A' Levels! It's very tough. I've got no time. I am not ready to serve. Wait till I grow up."
Andrew had to serve National Service.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "But but but teacher, I don't know when can I book out. It's difficult for me to confirm. I don't think I want to even try."
Andrew proceeded on to university and then to working life.
FINALLY, he is officially an adult.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "No teacher! I need to work till wee hours in the morning! I am very very busy. I've got no time to serve. Let the others do it."
Andrew got married and had kids with his wife.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "No teacher! I've got no time! Can't you see? I have to take care of my young children!"
Finally, Andrew was 67 years old.
Teacher- "Andrew, would you like to serve?"
A- "Teacher, I would love to. But I am too old. I no longer have any energy to serve."
And he passed away at 68 years old.
Brothers& Sisters, when is the perfect age and perfect time to serve God?
When will you ever be "free"?
May God touch your heart today.
You need only be available to God. The rest, ask and it will be given to you.
There is no perfect time or age to serve. It all depends on your heart. Listen to God's voice. May He fill you with the desire today, this moment.
-Amen.

The Prayer of Jabez
Tuesday, August 9, 2011
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying,"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that Your hand would be with me,
and that You wouold keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain!"
So God granted him what he requested.
(1 Chronicles 4:10)
What great faith Jabez have in God!
He had faith that God will bless with if he asked for it.
Do you have such faith?
Why not?

SHARING! (:
MIRACLE 1: Thank you God that I have finished my FYP presentation. Now, I'm just left with the report! :D
I recalled the presentation day. It was, OMG. I must say it's quite intimidating, having lecturers listening to our presentation. I was the last one to present. When the third person was finishing up her "speech", my mind was in a blank. I was thinking of my original "speech" but it just didn't came. My memory failed me. -.- But God did not. I just said a simple and short prayer to kind of calm myself down and for wisdom from God to be able to at least say something?
And then it was my turn. With nothing in my head, I started to say something. It flowed well and I continued talking and talking. It was kind of amazing because after it ended, I felt weird. Didn't I had nothing to say? Really thank God so much! :D
& the lecturer posted me a question about the research project. I WAS VERY NERVOUS. DIE, I CANNOT ANSWER HOW HOW HOW? But miraculously, God gave me the wisdom to tide over the questions too. You might think that i am kidding. It can't be so much of a coincidence.
But, it's real. I find it very amazing too! Sometimes, God's grace is VERY OBVIOUS. But, do we notice it?
MIRACLE 2:
Staff: "Wow, you must have done well to receive a scholarship!"
Me: Eh, not really sir. (Guilty look)
Staff: Oh, then at least top the cohort or something right? Or else how to get the scholarship?
Me: I don't know! hahaha. (I laughed it off)
But the fact is....................................
I did not met the criteria required to get the scholarship.
So how do I get the scholarship? It is purely God's grace.
Isn't He awesome?
Thank you God! :D
