RECALL NOTICE :

The Maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Sub-sequential Internal Non-Morality," or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5.. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in
the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect.

The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs.. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.
Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Believers' Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING:
Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination
of that facility. Thank you for your attention!

- GOD

P.S. Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by 'Knee mail'.

Because He Lives!

The Spiritual Search
Tuesday, August 25, 2009
What man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? — Matthew 7:9

The illustration of prayer that our Lord used here is one of a good child who is asking for something good. We talk about prayer as if God hears us regardless of what our relationship is to Him (Matthew 5:45). Never say that it is not God’s will to give you what you ask. Don’t faint and give up, but find out the reason you have not received; increase the intensity of your search and examine the evidence. Is your relationship right with your spouse, your children, and your fellow students? Are you a "good child" in those relationships? Do you have to say to the Lord, "I have been irritable and cross, but I still want spiritual blessings"? You cannot receive and will have to do without them until you have the attitude of a "good child."

We mistake defiance for devotion, arguing with God instead of surrendering. We refuse to look at the evidence that clearly indicates where we are wrong. Have I been asking God to give me money for something I want, while refusing to pay someone what I owe him? Have I been asking God for liberty while I am withholding it from someone who belongs to me? Have I refused to forgive someone, and have I been unkind to that person? Have I been living as God’s child among my relatives and friends? (Matthew 7:12).

I am a child of God only by being born again, and as His child I am good only as I "walk in the light" (1 John 1:7). For most of us, prayer simply becomes some trivial religious expression, a matter of mystical and emotional fellowship with God. We are all good at producing spiritual fog that blinds our sight. But if we will search out and examine the evidence, we will see very clearly what is wrong — a friendship, an unpaid debt, or an improper attitude. There is no use praying unless we are living as children of God. Then Jesus says, regarding His children, "Everyone who asks receives . . ." (Matthew 7:8).

Usefulness or Relationship?
Wednesday, August 12, 2009
Do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven — Luke 10:20

Jesus Christ is saying here, "Don’t rejoice in your successful service for Me, but rejoice because of your right relationship with Me." The trap you may fall into in Christian work is to rejoice in successful service — rejoicing in the fact that God has used you. Yet you will never be able to measure fully what God will do through you if you have a right-standing relationship with Jesus Christ. If you keep your relationship right with Him, then regardless of your circumstances or whoever you encounter each day, He will continue to pour "rivers of living water" through you (John 7:38). And it is actually by His mercy that He does not let you know it. Once you have the right relationship with God through salvation and sanctification, remember that whatever your circumstances may be, you have been placed in them by God. And God uses the reaction of your life to your circumstances to fulfill His purpose, as long as you continue to "walk in the light as He is in the light" (1 John 1:7).

Our tendency today is to put the emphasis on service. Beware of the people who make their request for help on the basis of someone’s usefulness. If you make usefulness the test, then Jesus Christ was the greatest failure who ever lived. For the saint, direction and guidance come from God Himself, not some measure of that saint’s usefulness. It is the work that God does through us that counts, not what we do for Him. All that our Lord gives His attention to in a person’s life is that person’s relationship with God — something of great value to His Father. Jesus is "bringing many sons to glory . . ." (Hebrews 2:10).

what God has in stall for us is so much better

UP is disney pixar's latest animated movie. the movie is about an old man who went on an expedition that he and his wife, who died, promised to. but he ends up in a whacky adventure with a kid, against his idol. an adventure that he never imagined.
this movie is nothing like what pixar had ever created. for one, characters die. for two, and the most important factor in my opinion, is that it has life in it. humanity. something which others like toy story or monster inc lacked. sure, toys, monsters and cars talk. but they are for kids.
UP is one movie that is suitable for all ages because of the life it has.
anyway, this is not what i want to discuss. what i want to say is how we can learn lessons from its plot.
in the movie, the old man and woman made a plan since young to build their house on some Heavenly Falls or something in south america. well, they kept saving but never made it due to various reasons. in the end, she died and the old man decided to go there with 'her'. in the end, he ended up in an adventure, saving an exotic bird species from a predator, the old man's life long idol since young.
the old woman had a book when she was young. in there she had pages reserved to record what she would do when she lives on top of that Fall. obviously that did not happen. near the end, the old man found out that these pages were replaced with pictures of their blissful marriage. he(was on top of the Falls already) finally realised that his wife was actually happier married to him and living a life together, even if it was only selling balloons and being tour guides in zoo.
she has reached the top of the 'Falls' in her life already. thus i believed she passed away without regrets.
sometimes in life, things do not go according to plans. we thought that we had came out with best plan and want to carry it out.
then God interfere and your plan screws up.
you complain.
but you soon received what was better for you and you never thought about it at all.
God knew what is best for us and he will always give it to us in His own special way.
this is like the old man. when he finally reached the top of the Falls literally. he was not happy.
so what if we reached our goals? so what if our plans go smoothly? sometimes, they are just not the best for us. sometimes we find ourselves empty because what we are after is no godly.
that was why the old man decided to start a new adventure by saving the kid(if you are confused, watch the movie. highly recommended).
at least the old man was happy.

are you ready to take on the new adventure God has prepared for you?

The Brave Friendship of God
Wednesday, August 5, 2009
"He took the twelve aside..." — Luke 18:31

Oh, the bravery of God in trusting us! Do you say, "But He has been unwise to choose me, because there is nothing good in me and I have no value"? That is exactly why He chose you. As long as you think that you are of value to Him He cannot choose you, because you have purposes of your own to serve. But if you will allow Him to take you to the end of your own self-sufficiency, then He can choose you to go with Him "to Jerusalem" (Luke 18:31). And that will mean the fulfillment of purposes which He does not discuss with you.

We tend to say that because a person has natural ability, he will make a good Christian. It is not a matter of our equipment, but a matter of our poverty; not of what we bring with us, but of what God puts into us; not a matter of natural virtues, of strength of character, of knowledge, or of experience— all of that is of no avail in this concern. The only thing of value is being taken into the compelling purpose of God and being made His friends (see 1 Corinthians 1:26-31). God’s friendship is with people who know their poverty. He can accomplish nothing with the person who thinks that he is of use to God. As Christians we are not here for our own purpose at all — we are here for the purpose of God, and the two are not the same. We do not know what God’s compelling purpose is, but whatever happens, we must maintain our relationship with Him. We must never allow anything to damage our relationship with God, but if something does damage it, we must take the time to make it right again. The most important aspect of Christianity is not the work we do, but the relationship we maintain and the surrounding influence and qualities produced by that relationship. That is all God asks us to give our attention to, and it is the one thing that is continually under attack.

The recommended book this month is "A Life God Reward for Kids". I know you all are not kids anymore, but a life after God's heart is is not just for kids but all of us. Written as a story involving 3 siblings and a dog, you'll be able to read the book without much effort, and will find deep lessons within.
