He Chose The Nails

Love is not just a feeling, or gratitude, but a choice, a commitment. We can choose to love those who seem difficult to love, for God first love us when we don't deserve, and He has put this love in each of our hearts.
The book recommended by the library this month is "He Chose The Nail" by Max Lucado. In the book, the author talks about how God shows His love for us in each step He took to the Corss. You will find out what the Cross really means, along with other things like the thorn crown, spit on the face, etc. You will find out why He took all those treatments when He didn't have to, nor did He deserve.
"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
