After I watched this video, I am stunned and shocked and these are the thoughts that came to my mind. Seriously please think again salvation and your lives, if not whatever we do are without meaning and maybe we just like those who are unsaved. We need to take God's word and teachings seriously and not just as story, theory, head knowledge or something good to aim but not achievable

thank God i got into SA, my first choice. now there really is a reason i should thank Him.
all the while i was thinking about AJ because it was the better school. but then again, SA was the one i preferred. however, after much opinions, considerations, and praying, i decided to put SA as first choice and forgo AJ. and now i got in.
this morning, i realised that many people could not enter their first choice when their grades meet the minimum of last year's cut off point. i met AJs minimum and got lower than SA. if did put in AJ as first choice, i would probably not be able to get in AJ AS WELL AS SA as SA seems to be a popular school. i may just end up in NY, my 3rd choice which the only i reason i put in was due to the distance. i really thank God.
Congrats to wingsze and wingyan for entering the school/ course of their choice. how did kayan and lokyiu do? anyone?

first i would like to congratulate my sis and kitty on their baptism and can't wait for catherine, jezebel and ceon's in april. wonder when will kawai and kayan baptising... haha
anyway, God really has His plans in EVERYTHING. take example for today. i put on a shirt and tie for no reason. maybe just to look better on my sis' baptism.
but it turned out to be for a greater good. madeline couldn't make it for usher so she asked wingsze to help out who later asked me as she needed to go to the children's department. so i ended up as an usher in jeans. at least i have a shirt and tie on. so we can see God working in every way to achieve His plans. as to why he planned madeline to come late, i dunno liao..........
but wingsze got an answer... 'so as to get wingsze to be usher and ws to get chris so he can make full use of his shirt. TA DA!'

Let me welcome myself for my first ever appearance. Firstly I have to say that I was "strongly encouraged" to do this... Alright to more serious stuffs. If you still don't know (I guess most of you don't), the Soul Garden recommends 1 Chinese and 1 English book every month. The English book that we're recommending this month is "My Utmost For His Highest", which is a devotional, in which the messages are more towards making us rethink about our services, as well as our relationship with God, and how we can really live in His way. So for those of you who are seeking new meanings in your life, it will be useful for you. In order that we can recommend books every month, we actually painstakingly (and I mean PAIN!) read what we want to recommend. So while we are blessed by God's words and teachings as we read, we also would like to share all those blessings with all of you. As such, PLEASE READ!!! Thanks. teasing ho choi issue

hey ppl, think we should try to stop this teasing ho choi issue. sure is fun for us to play a fool and he doesn't really seem to mind but we are actually teaching the kids wrong values.
in case you haven't noticed, the kids are not respecting ho choi at all, making fun of him just like us. of course we know the limits and just play for fun but they kids don't.
they may grow up learning the wrong things and not giving any respect to other people. i am not saying this because i am ho choi's best friend or something but because i observed this yesterday.
when ho choi was telling stories, the children were very 'high', calling him names, making a lot of noises, not giving him any face at all. if we actually trace back, it is because we all started it first.
think it is really a rather serious issue so can we try to stop? or next time the kids start it, we should talk to them and ho choi, please be a bit more firm with them...

Go SA since its the one you liked. Keep in touch with your friend once there. This is not the US and You 2 are not seperated by time zones. I myself are talking daily to my secondary school friends who turned out to be my CO wrkers in the army. 2 of my P6 classmate works downstairs at the workshop and I see them every day.
Point is: Different schools wont put too much distance between the 2 of you(unless the person is of opposite sex hohoho)
You may also consider travelling distance, i never went to VJ despite scoring enough for it as i dont want to travel 1 hr 15 min a day to school. So I went for TJ which has a direct bus from my house. Waking up at 0600 to go to school is not very fun considerng you have to do it for the next 2 years.

ok, since esther has gotten over i shall start my 'bragging' here...
thank God i got 8 points after taking away 4 bonus points but i am in a dilema now. i dunno whether to go anderson or saint andrews. basically this 2 schools are around the same in results i think since there is only 1 point difference. i have a direct bus to aj but i'll need to change one bus or take a walk to sa.
anderson however is not so good in the sense the environment is not really good and the people are not really that... warm
saint andrews however is a huge campus, that's why its called a village, and the people there is very warm. felt so much more excited there at the open house.
but another problem comes in.
i plan to go into the jc with a friend since he got 7 and i got 8. i personally prefer saint andrews but he has no opinion.
if he go aj there will be no problem but i may since i just made the mark and it is a popular. what if i could not get in aj and sa is filled up as well?
should i still try for aj or go for sa at once??
advises please?

Will not be in church for this week. Exercise arrangements by the unit saw me doing duties on last and coming sunday as well as coming friday(had to cover for those who went out for exercise). Haiz.......

thanks the Lord for we finally have robes for our choir. i forgot where but in the bible it did mention that a choir with robes is glorifying God.
