Recently, i am reading a book named The Prayer of Jabez for Teens by Bruce Wilkinson In this book, the writer had written something about blessing. "To bless in the biblical sense means to ask for supernatural favor. When we ask for God's blessing, we're not asking for more of what we could get for ourselves. We're sincerely asking for the kind of good things that only God has the power to know about or give. That's why the Bible says," The Lord's blessing is the greatest wealth. All our work adds nothing to it!"(Proverbs 10:22 TLB). Mavis

A message from Ms. Zhang lo. She said, a profession can be useful. For instance, those doing insurance. How can selling insurances glorify god? I sell more, i more pro, i get to glorify god? Maybe? But, one day, City ONe Baptist church met with an accident. SOme of the stuffs were destroyed. Then, the person doing insurance helped to claim money because he/ she is in that profession and he knows how to do it! In this case, money can be used to rebuild God's facilities. Cool? Did you join the insurance line because you know acccidents will happen? Probably not right? A student, you gget to meet more people. Maybe you can spread the gospel! So no matter how young, old, skinny, or anything, God CAN use you! So you are not useless! NO worries :D

Sunday, 14/12/2008 James 4:13-17; How long is long? How short is short?
Reality check, God is coming, are you ready? A lady died in an attack, of only about 30 years old in age. We often sees things as eternal, forever. But, is it long enough? HOw long is long? is 30 years long? We think that we can always afford to wait, wait and wait. It is a fact that one day we will go, but we ignore it. Why must we die? We are in the web of sin. What is sin? Besides doing what is wrong is a sin, knowing what's right and yet not doing is also sin! Sin= "poison". We will all get killed by poison! D: However, in God's eyes, our lives are short as compared to eternal lives. Have you chosen life? Whether to follow christ? Believe in Christ? Or to wait? PLenty of time? Take years to make a decision? Do not wait, Choose Christ& be rich! Death is a doorway to bring us from Earth to heaven. We can be rich, IN CHRIST( 1 Cor. 1:5), IN TRIAL (Rev 2:9), IN GOOD DEEDS( 1 Tim 6:18), IN OFFERING( 2 Cor 9:11) What if you know its the truth when Christ comes? Do not wait!

I want to express my gratitude to everyone who shows concerns for the tragedy which happened. It is a good thing that brothers and sisters are concern about this and what had happened, i will forward your concern to them, or u can give them support personally. However, I do appreciate if we can refrain from posting any more discussion about this topic, thou prayer request is still fine. Not being subjective or challenging anyone here just that i think this is something sensistive and we shouldnt openly discuss it.

Hello! Anyone who will be back in HK on 25th December 2008 aka CHRISTMAS Day? Well, to all of you who fulfill the above requirement, you are invited to my Christmas party! This two weeks i had quite a number of deadlines to meet and also a number of presentation to do and term tests are also coming next week. But really want to thank and praise the Lord for giving me the will power not to forget to read the Bible. =) To be truthfully, i think many of you probably facing the same problem. During exam times or close to submission dates we will start to focus fire on our assingments and reports and stop our daily devotion or like me in the past, pile everything to a day and keep reading lol.
Well i think that is not a really good practice, as we are to be with God everyday! right?! Imagine a situation that a person may resort to finish reading a whole Bible in a few days and safely declare that for the next half year or one year or so, he doesnt needs to do any more daily devotion as he has already achieve his target. If that is so, there wont be so many Chrisitian who doesnt have time to do daily devotion, all they have to do is to spend one whole day sit down and keep reading and reading and just separate from God for the coming weeks or even months!
Imagine that! lol. Well so please do not neglect or stop reading. Well i know is hard to start, i am also learning to keep myself discliplined. So Let's work hard together!! Woohoo!
Praise the Lord that today i managed to finish some holiday homework.I have a peaceful sleep in the afternoon thanks god that nobody disturb my sleeping until8:30p.m. god gives me time to rest after doing work.thank god that i could contact with Denise Cheung once again yesterday as it was quite rare that i could have a talk with her at night.i was happy abt that.The bible always remind me that i should obey my mother. My mother is pleased that she can have such an obedience daughter. lol.

Has God changed your life or have you allow God to change your life? This video has shown different testimony of different people, no matter they are once who have rejected Christ or once they are Christian but have left God for some reasons.

OMG today i am so shocked. cos i talked to a man on the train.. i did not expect that this man would come and ask me whether i am a christian or not. furthermore he wanted me to hep him buy a bible. i was panic-stricken. it was quite scary. hahahahha the first rhing that i did, was to ignore him.. i know as a christian i should talk more god's words to him.. but my mind was totally blank at that time. hahahhahaha... after he got off the train, i regretted. lol my sister comforted me.. and i realised God wanted to alert me thatas a christian i should always be ready for anything,any question. so i think that we should always be with god. we should have a close relationship with god toooooooooooooooo DON'T ALL OF YOU AGREE WITH ME!!??!!??!!
